What Happens After Launch? Software Support and Maintenance

Understanding ongoing support, maintenance and changes for your custom software after it goes live.

Your application is live. Your team is using it. Now what?

The First Two Weeks

The initial period often reveals small adjustments. A field that needs to be wider. A filter that would be useful. These are normal and included in your revisions.

Ongoing Maintenance

A well-built application requires minimal maintenance. The hosting platform handles server updates. The application code is stable.

When You Need Changes

Businesses evolve. New features, new reports, new integrations are scoped and quoted individually. Small changes are typically a few hours of work.

What I Provide

  • Revisions: Included in every project until you’re satisfied.
  • Bug fixes: If something doesn’t work as specified, I fix it at no cost.
  • Enhancements: New features quoted at an agreed hourly rate.
  • Independence: You own the code, so you’re never dependent on me for the system to keep running.

Got a Spreadsheet That's Driving You Mad?

Send it over — I'll tell you what an app version would look like and what it'd cost. No obligation.
